Browsing by folders

Browsing by folders lets you find items in a folder structure similar to Meridian Enterprise and Windows Explorer. Each Explorer object type: documents, tags, and projects can have a different folder tree. When you find the documents that you are looking for, you can save the current view filter for later reuse.

Note    The folder views do not show any project copies of documents or of tags.

To browse by folders:

• In the ribbon menu, click Search and then in the ribbon, click Folders. The folder tree for the current view appears.
  • To open a folder, click the expand icon .
  • To close a folder, click the collapse icon .
  • To view the contents of a folder, click the folder icon or the folder name. The results list refreshes to show the documents that are contained in the selected folder.
